Il 19 marzo 2021 si è svolto sulla piattaforma Microsoft Teams la conferenza finale per la divulgazione dei risultati del progetto MEISAR.

We are pleased to to share our recently published work dealing with the Effect of Parent Concrete on the Performance of Recycled Aggregate Concrete.

Project #MEISAR goes on!

The MEISAR project is moving forward to the last experimental part: structural tests on reinforced concrete plinths made with recycled aggregates. Last week the mortar connecting the plinth to the pillar was casted. The experimental tests will begin in November.

ECOMONDO

The MEISAR project took part in the ECOMONDO fair in Rimini, a reference in Europe for the industrial and technological innovation of the circular economy.

Unica & Imprese

The MEISAR team will participate in the "Unica & Imprese" meeting at the headquarters of CeSAR (Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato-Cagliari), to describe the progress of the Project on June 27, 2019.

It will be a wonderful opportunity to spread the partial results of the project.

The MEISAR team will attend in the conference "COSTRUIRE COMFORTEVOLE E COMPATIBILE CON L’AMBIENTE, Building management and Building Automation: l’edificio del terzo millennio, Edilizia circolare, riciclo e riuso nel campo della rigenerazione urbana" Sassari 27 June 2019.

INPUT ACADEMY

The MEISAR team will attend the conference INPUT aCAdemy 2019 - planning, nature and ecosystem services Cagliari 24-26 June 2019. It will be a wonderful opportunity to spread the partial results of the project.

Another step for MEISAR project with sample preparation for Freeze-thaw resistence with de-icing salts - Scaling according to the UNI CEN/TS 12390-9 standard.

The MEISAR project is going forward with the determination of chlorides resistance of the concrete. Following the indications of UNI EN 12390-11, the resistance to unidirectional diffusion of chlorides in concretes made with recycled aggregates was tested.

The MEISAR project continues with the chemical tests: sulphates soluble in acid

Project MEISAR is also focused on recycled aggregate concrete durability. In these days the depth of penetration of water under pressure test is under development (UNI EN12390-8).

Concrete Mixes

The MEISAR project reached another important step: the concrete mixes with recycled aggregates have been prepared.

The MEISAR project is under development. In the last weeks the characterization of the aggregates obtained from the demolition of the Sant'Elia Stadium have been performed.

Project MEISAR is under way. First demolitions were made in the Sant’Elia stadium. The concrete waste will be used for the recycled aggregate production and testing.

The Public Education Service, Youth Policies and Sport of the Municipality of Cagliari has authorized access to the Stadio Sant'Elia for the concrete testing to the Research Group of the MEISAR Project funded by the Cluster Top Down of Sardegna Ricerche ( May, 3 2018 - prot. No. 116020/2018).

The Experimental Campaign on existing reinforced concrete structures at the Sant'Elia Stadium includes three activities:
